June 2017

We were 5 at last week’s CinDay Guild meeting, representing Cincinnati, Dayton, and Brazil by way of Troy.

We talked about tellings we’d done recently, and stories we’re working on.  We’ve told in our own churches, and as guest tellers in other churches, in prisons and jails, and university theology classes.

We talked about stories of enemies and “women who Jesus loved”,  about “poetic homiletics” in the style of “God’s Trombones” (James Weldon Johnson), about the fact that cashews are not really nuts, and how to use stories to resolve conflict.

(And you thought we just shared food!)
